Boulder now has passed the necessary ballot initiatives to enable an expansion of city-owned broadband internet. What should it look like?
In partnership with the organizers of Broadband & Beers, which helped pass municipal broadband in Ft. Collins, we’ve gathered broadband experts, local organizers, and city representatives to present ideas and strategies to better connect Boulder with next-generation connectivity. We will host a viewing of “Do Not Pass Go”, which illustrates the battle communities fight against telecom monopolies over the right to build locally-owned gigabit networks. Following the viewing will be an in-depth strategy discussion with our experts.
Food will be provided, thanks to the sponsorship of CU Boulder’s College of Media, Communication, and Information. Participants are invited to bring beer or other alcoholic beverages to enjoy and share.
